RECRUITMENT OF ACIO GRADE-II/EXECUTIVE IN INTELLIGENCE BUREAU

Intelligence Bureau, under Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India invites online application for Assistant Central Intelligence Officer (ACIO) Grade –II /Executive officers from Indian Nationals.

Name of the Post : ACIO Grade-II /Executive (Assistant Central Intelligence Officer Grade –II)

Number of Post vacant is 1430.

Distribution of post as per Category is out of 1300 ( 951 is for Unreserved, 184 for OBC, 109 for SC and 56 for ST). 130 posts are reserved for Ex-servicemen, out of which 95 for UR, 19 for OBC, 11 for SC and  5 for ST Ex-servicemen candidates.

Essential Qualification is Graduate from any University or College recognized by Government of India or any recognized Institute.

Desirable Qualification is having Computer Knowledge.

Age limit for applying above post is 18 to 27 years. But relaxations are there as per the Government Rules. 5 years relaxation for SC/ST candidates and 3 years relaxation OBC candidates are allowed.

Place of posting is all over India.

Examination fee is Rs. 100/- for male General and OBC candidates. No fee for SC/ST/women candidates.

Mode of payment of fee is both Offline and online. In case of offline, fee should be paid through SBI counters and challan should be collected for future references.

Online applications can be applied from 12.8.2017 to 2.09.2017.

Mode of Selection comprises of two Tier Examinations and Interview of 100 marks.

TIER –I EXAMINATION is of 60 minutes for 100 marks in Multiple Choice type Questions. The papers consist of General awareness, Quantitative aptitude, Logical/Analytical aptitude and General English.

TIER –II EXAMINATION is of Descriptive type of Examination for 60 minutes of 50 marks.

Papers consist of Essay Writing, English Comprehension and Precise Writing.

Tips for clearing this Examination :

        As this post is highly reputed as it belongs to Intelligence Bureau, the selection process is also quite tough in other sense; otherwise the pattern of Examination is comparatively easy.
